The Kempner Family Community Development Center has served the greater Kempner community since 2020 — providing food, resources, events, and support for local families.

That’s our vision — and everything we do, from the food pantry to community events, grows out of it.

What We Do
The Kempner Family Community Development Center has existed since 2020 to help the greater community of Kempner, TX with any needs that we can. We help families and individuals directly with specific needs unique to each person. We also maintain some community-wide free services and work to make the community better as a whole. We are not affiliated directly with the city or any other organizations, but sometimes partner with them to develop this community. We never charge for services and constantly give back to this community . Kempner Family Community Development Center, Inc is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, EIN 85-1365928. Community Assistance
We provide direct assistance to members of the community including parents, families, seniors, and handicapped.
Community Partnerships
We work alongside other local community groups and organizations including the KVFD, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Lampasas TNR, churches, and more to help build a better community.
Community Clean Up
We adopted two miles of FM 2808 right here in Kempner and organize volunteer cleanup events to help keep our part of the city clean.
Community Events
We host an an annual Wellness Fair to bring health and wellness resources to Kempner and we are working to bring the community more exciting events and greater resources.
Community Center
We are currently working on building out a community center to host regular events, serve as a senior center, and resource hub for local homeschoolers.
